Kanazawa Hirokazu Kancho (Born May 1931)

Célèbre et respecté maîtres traditionnels de karaté 10ème Dan. I
l est le premier karatéka à avoir remporté le fameux All Japan Karate Championship en 1957.
Kancho est l'un des derniers karatékas a avoir étudié avec le maître Gichin Funakoshi qui a introduit le karaté de l'île d'Okinawa au Japon vers le continent et a ouvert Shotokan Dojo à Tokyo. En 1978, Kanazawa Kancho mis en place SKIF (Shotokan Karatedo Fédération internationale). SKIF est maintenant la plus grosse association du monde Shotokan Karate avec un instructeur en chef, implanté dans plus de 130 pays.
